Overview

All of Corken’s regenerative turbine pumps are known as a Coro-Flo®. The MDC-model (Magnetic Drive Coro-Flo) is a stainless steel turbine pump with a sealless magnetic drive configuration. The close-coupled magnetic drive pump mounts directly to a Corken supplied C-Face motor so no coupling or special alignment procedures are required. Installation is quick and easy. A close-coupled design is a great option when space is limited. With a sealless design there are no mechanical seals so you get maximum liquid containment when handling corrosive and toxic liquids.
MDC-model turbine pumps are designed for low capacity, medium head pumping applications involving corrosive liquefied gases such as aqueous and anhydrous ammonia, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, chlorine, hydrogen chloride and many more.
The MDC-model industrial pump is designed for simplicity of inspection and service. All maintenance can be performed by simply draining the pump using the drain port and removing the pump cover. Since the impeller is the only moving part, downtime and maintenance costs are minimized. Available with NPT and slip weld connections.

All of Corken’s regenerative turbine pumps are known as a Coro-Flo®. The DL-/DLD-/DLF-model regenerative turbine pump is a direct mount made for a standard, two pole C-Face motor with a 8.5″ rabett diameter. A 8.5″ rabett diameter fits 182TC, 184TC, 213TC and 215TC motor frames.
If you are limited to single phase electric power and your pumping application requires high differential pressures, then the optional HDP turbine pump package is for you. With the optional HDP package you get a variable frequency drive (VFD) that allows you to convert a single phase electrical power to three phase power. Three phase electrical power is necessary to operate the larger horsepower motors required for building 125 to 250 psi (8.6 to 17.2 bar) of differential pressure.
All of Corken’s regenerative turbine pumps are known as a Coro-Flo®. An F-model turbine pump is a frame mount design and requires a baseplate. A frame mount utilizes a direct drive configuration that runs at motor speed and requires a coupling and coupling guard. With a frame mount design, you have the flexibility to choose from a variety of motor types.
All of Corken’s regenerative turbine pumps are known as a Coro-Flo®. The C-model turbine pump is a close-coupled design that mounts directly to a Corken supplied C-Face motor so no coupling or special alignment procedures are required. With a close coupled design, installation is quick and easy. C-model turbine pumps are designed for low capacity, medium head pumping applications involving liquefied gases such as LPG (propane & butane), CO2, and refrigerant gases. Since the compact, close coupled design is ideal for tight spaces, the C-model Coro-Flo is the pump of choice for dispensing applications like propane cylinder filling stations. Available with NPT or ANSI flange connections.
When an electric motor drive is not a preferred option, misalignment has been an issue, or you have limited space, the hydraulic drive is a great solution. This option allows for direct mounting of a hydraulic motor and forms a compact alignment. The hydraulic drive option is available with the CP-, CD-, PT-, PZ- and Z-model product groups. The hydraulic drive configuration is designated by the lettter “H” within the model number. The model numbers for our hydraulic drive sliding vane pumps begin with CPH, CDH, PTH, PZH and ZH. The operating specifications for the hydraulic models are the same as the standard CP-, CD-, PT-, PZ- and Z-models. For details on the operating specifications, refer to the pages containing our standard models.
