Overview
All of Corken’s regenerative turbine pumps are known as a Coro-Flo®. The DS-/DSF-model regenerative turbine pump is a direct mount design made for a standard, two pole C-Face motor with a 4.5″ rabett diameter. A 4.5″ rabett diameter fits 56C, 143TC and 145TC motor frames. The direct mount supports both the pump and motor so they can be directly coupled. Since it is designed to exact tolerances of the pump and motor, simple assembly will result in proper alignment of the pump and motor shaft. The advantage of a direct mount is no coupling guard, baseplate, or special alignment procedures are required for installation.
The DS-model comes with NPT connections while the DSF-model has ANSI flange connections. These pumps are designed for liquefied gases such as LPG (propane & butane) agricultural ammonia, natural gas liquids (NGLs), CO2, SO2, refrigerant gases, and many other many more.
