SC-Model Side Channel Pump Overview

The SC-model side channel pump is a mechanically sealed design and is the standard seal option for propane, butane, and agricultural ammonia service. There are three mechanical seal options (single unbalanced, single balanced, and double balanced) and two material options for the seal face and seal seat. The side channel pump is a self-priming design so it is ideal for applications with a low net positive suction head (NPSH) such as pumping from a small underground tank. Additionally, the multi-stage configuration enables the side channel pump to reach higher than normal differential pressures. The feature makes it a great fit for high different applications like propane carousel cylinder filling station, aerosol filling stations, vaporizer feed, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) applications.

Suitable for liquefied gases like ammonia, pentane, propane, propylene, propylene oxide, refrigerants, vinly toluene, and liquids with low vapory pressures like gasoline, glycol, methanol, mineral spirits, naptha, water, soda ash, solvents, and many more. Available with ANSI flange connections only.
